FREE! Community Health Meeting
March 4, 2012, Senior Center, Clearlake, CA 12-5pm
This is a free event to grade your health status! We hope you will invite all your friends and family.
Our event includes:
Free lunch for the first 100 to arrive.
Health Report Card stations with BMI, Hgb A1c, BP and pulse, Family Health inventory.
Lectures by four physicians, including a panel discussion for questions.
Many class offerings will be shared and new classes being offered 2012 presented.

This is our gift to our community and this will be in the newspaper soon. Please tell all you know to attend.

Mad About Marriage Seminar

Many of our alumni attended our Mad about Marriage Seminar in Clearlake. Jan 20-21 the seminar will be presented in St. Helena! You may sign up on their website by searching your website for Mad About Marriage and on the Home page you will find a sign up link. This is a free seminar. They will be serving lunch on the 21st just prior to the afternoon meeting.

Breathe Free New Dates

We are happy to announce that a new series of Breathe Free is starting Jan. 16 and goes through Feb 1. Meetings are Monday and Wednesdays from 6:30-8pm This will be the last session that Dr. Shepherd will be leading as he will be moving out of the area this spring. Walking Class Oct 22

Our Alumni meeting is expanding for this month to include anyone interested in getting walking into their life! We will have Dr. Shepherd with us to give a brief talk and then be breaking up into several groups: Already going, with Carol to get in a great walk, Intermediate walk down the Howard Hill, Flat and easy around the parking lot, and “Wish I could walk” in our Hall with Dr. Shepherd, learning strengthening exercises and how to get walking started. We will be inviting our community to this event since it is “Make a Difference Day” nationwide.

We will also begin logging steps for our group to “walk around the county” goal board. JOIN US!
We will be having this event rain or shine. If raining we will have optional inside walking!
Wear comfortable shoes and clothes for this fresh start in “kicking” off your walking routine.
